APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• On running the (installFixPack -b /opt/ibm/db2/V9.1 -n) command
  to install Universal Fixpack in V91
  following error on the gsk package
  
  
  Error received is
  Updating selected components.
  
  Command to be run: "/bin/rpm -ivh
  '/mnt/dwe/fp3/universal/disk1/db2/linuxamd64/install/../../../db
  2/linuxamd64/FILES/gsk7bas64-7.0-3.31'.x86_64.rpm".
  ERROR:error: open of
  /mnt/dwe/fp3/universal/disk1/db2/linuxamd64/install/../../../db2
  /linuxamd64/FILES/gsk7bas64-7.0-3.31.x86_64.rpm failed: No such
  file or directory
  ....
  Since in V91 each fixpack is a refresh image which means
  (base product + all the fixpacks) till that fixpack level.
  Customer's who has multilple DB2 products generally which to
  apply universal fixpack install of individual product fixpacks.
  We do not include gsk kit in the universal fixpack as gsk kit
  is part of the full image install.
  

Local fix

• Can uninstall the earlier gsk packages and install the new
  ones from
  web site where the GSKit install files:
  
  https://www14.software.ibm.com/webapp/iwm/web/reg/pick.do?lang=e
  n_US&source=swg-dm-db2ldap&S_TACT=swg-dm-db2ldap
