Error description
When compiling with -qmkshrobj, the compiler reports an error message 1586-491 (U) COMPILER LIMIT EXCEEDED: Insufficient virtual storage.". This error message does not occur when createing a executable or shared object enabled for runtime linking (-G option).
Local fix
Problem summary
A defect in the IPA component of the compiler resulted in the compiler running out of virtual storage.
Problem conclusion
The defect code was corrected and the memory problem no longer occurs.
