APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• External table apply can fail with SQLCODE 20570, "The statement
  failed because the number of rejected rows exceeds the limit".
  When you look at the external table apply error log file , the
  message is "text field too long for column". This can happen
  when the target column is a character-type column that specifies
  CODEUNITS32, and the source data contains at least one character
  whose UTF-8 encoding is multi-byte, and the source data length
  in characters equals the maximum length declared for the target
  column.
