A fix is available or will be available that ensures that Process Federation Server search REST API supports filtering out tasks based on the value of their taskActivityType field by adding the following condition to the search: { "field": "taskActivityType", "value": "SERVICE_TASK", "operator": "NotEquals" }. It is also possible to restrict the returned tasks to human tasks by adding the following condition to the search: { "field": "taskActivityType", "value": "USER_TASK", "operator": "Equals" }. Possible values of taskActivityType field are: USER_TASK, SERVICE_TASK and DECISION_TASK.
