  • When the desktop ID for a project area is changed, the new
    desktop ID isn't applied to a solution until a full redeployment
     of the solution is performed.
    In the 'Testing your solution' page in the documentation, it
    currently lists a few conditions on when a full redeployment is
    required.
    The changing of a desktop ID for a project area is not
    mentioned.
