APAR status

Error description

  • Infinite Loop encountered when attaching schedules. This
    happens when you use an incorrect input for the Machine Name  or
    when the machine is unable to connect to the host for any
    reason. No error or exception is seen on screen or gets written
    to the logs.

    * 1. Open Studio                                               *
    * 2. Click on Attach Schedule                                  *
    * 3. Type an invalid hostname or ip                            *
    * 4. This page is not considering any timeout, so it is in     *
    * infinite loading.                                            *
    *                                                              *
    * Expected result: If the hostname is invalid the loading      *
    * should stop and log an error message.                        *
    * Actual result: The loading message box is an eternal loop,   *
    * it never disappears or throw an error message.               *
    *                                                              *
    * After this fix the expected result is performed.             *

    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    * Update to a level of IBM RPA that includes this APAR.        *
