Error description
You will notice a blank main menu in the Process designer and Case builder when your deployment environment is created with a custom context root. Browser console shows the following error: Unable to get config information with error message: Error: Request failed with status code 404.

Problem summary
When you create a deployment environment with a custom context root, the Process designer and Case builder attempt to retrieve side bar item information from an incorrect URL. As a result, the side bar has a blank main menu. PRODUCT AFFECTED IBM Business Automation Workflow IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation
Problem conclusion
A fix is available or will be available that allows the Process designer and Case builder to pick up info from the correct URLs so that they can display the menu items on the side bar.
