  • When you upgrade IBM Business Automation Workflow version
v18.0.0.1 to v20.0.0.2 or v21.0.2, the deployment manager
profile upgrade might fail with the following error in

Local fix

  • a) Add ContentNavigator.datasource.type=<dbtype> to
DE_NAME_CaseManagerConfig.properties, the <dbtype> value is DB2,
 Oracle, or SQL Server based on the data source type of your
Deployment Environment.
b) Try to start the dmgr again.
