Problem summary


    

  • When Kafka is configured to use Avro messages, and any of the
columns can be nullable, the Avro schema does not generate
correctly. Selecting a nullable field does not change the
behavior of the connector.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Kafka Connector code has been fixed to generate Avro schema with
 null values properly when nullable field is selected in column
definition.
