Error description

  • By default, all members running on the same node share the same
IBM Process Portal search index. However, the following
exception might occur when numerous members share the search
index:

java.lang.NullPointerException
at
com.ibm.bpm.search.process.spi.impl.ProcessLockManager.extendExp
iryTime(ProcessLockManager.java:130)

Local fix

  • Ensure that each member of the cluster uses a distinct Lucene
index, even when they run on the same node.
