  • When you read the instructions in "Configuring Common Event
Infrastructure (deprecated)"
(https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SS8JB4_20.x/com.ibm
.wbpm.imuc.doc/topics/t1bpmmon_cei_8.0.1.html) to set up the
Common Event Infrastructure (CEI) in a golden-topology
environment, or in a topology where the support cluster is
separated from the application cluster, you see that Common Base
 Events (CBEs) can't be emitted. However, CBEs can be emitted
from a single-cluster environment.

Problem summary


    

  • This issue occurs because in a golden-topology environment the
CBE emitter can't determine whether the CEI event is enabled.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • A fix that can help the CBE emitter determine whether the CEI
event is enabled in all types of topology environment is
available for IBM BPM V8.6.0.0 cumulative fix 20.0.0.1.
