Error description

  • If you are upgrading to IBM Business Automation Workflow
V20.0.0.1 with IBM Db2 for z/OS, the
upgradeSchema[version_number]_ProcessServer.sql database script
might fail with an error similar to the following message:

call sysproc.admin_cmd('reorg table
@SCHEMA@.BPM_HISTORICAL_DATA_PLAYBACK')
This statement produces the error:
Exception: [IBM][CLI Driver][DB2] SQL0440N No authorized routine
named "SYSPROC.ADMIN_CMD" of type "" having compatible arguments
was found. SQLSTATE=42884 SQLCODE=-440

Local fix

  • Remove all the reorg table sqls from the
pgradeSchema[version_number]_ProcessServer.sql script and run
the database script again.
