APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When upgrading from versions earlier than IBM Business
Automation Workflow 18.0.0.2, you might upgrade the dmgr profile
 to an interim version, such as 19.0.0.1, but not the nodes
profiles, and then you might upgrade the dmgr profile to your
target version, such as 19.0.0.3.

As a result, you see an exception similar to the following
exception in the FileNet log when you start your application
cluster:

FNRCE0066E - ERROR DomainUpgrade(BPM) Exception encountered with
upgrader task, attempt #0
com.filenet.api.exception.EngineRuntimeException: FNRCE0066E:
E_UNEXPECTED_EXCEPTION: An unexpected exception occurred.
Message was: null

com.filenet.engine.upgrade.DomainUpgrader.doUpgrade(DomainUpgrad

This exception indicates the P8 domain can't be upgraded because
properties are missing for the FileNet bootstrap.
