APAR status

Error description

  • When upgrading from a previous IBM Business Process Manager
environment (such as 8.5.5.0), running the BPMUpdateSystemApp
command fails to import the Content Integration toolkit. You
might see exception similar to following in the
<dmgr_profile>/logs/BPMUpdateSystemApp_*.log file:

Problem summary


    

  • This issue occurs because the Content Integration toolkit is
imported before the BPM UI toolkit, which it depends on. Because
 the command tries to import the Content Integration toolkit
first, it fails because it can't find the BPM UI toolkit.
