Error description

• Currently, the Snowflake Connector Region field is required but
  when connecting to US-WEST-2 the region needs to be excluded.

Problem summary

  USERS AFFECTED:
  Snowflake Connector users connecting to Snowflake datawarehouse
  hosted in us-west-2 region.
  ****************************************************************
  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  Snowflake connector fails when connecting to us-west-2 region.
  When connecting to US-WEST-2, the region should be excluded from
  the JDBC connection URL but currently Snowflake Connector
  requires this be provided.

  RECOMMENDATION:
  Apply patch JR62384 on Engine tier
  ****************************************************************
  

Problem conclusion

• Region connection property is a mandatory field on the UI, so a
  value should be provided for the job to run. As us-west-2 is not
   a valid value for Region and as the property cannot be left
  empty a fix was done to remove required field tag for the
  property. With the fix in place user can leave the value empty
  for Region and it would be excluded in the connection URL and
  thus connection would be successful.
