  * This issue may affect you if you use the CDC Kafka engine    *
  * with the system parameter target_num_image_builder_threads   *
  * is set to be greater than 1.                                 *

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:                                         *
  * Updates are applied to Kafka as a Delete operation followed  *
  * by an Insert operation. If the CDC engine was using multiple *
  * threads, it would in some circumstances write the delete     *
  * operation with one thread and then switch to another thread  *
  * to write the insert. This could result in the insert         *
  * operation being written out of order.                        *

Problem conclusion

• Upgrading to IDR 11.4.0.2-5560 for Kafka resolves this issue.
