Error description

  • In order to support cases when the user overrides the character
    encoding for source and target instances, IDR needs to send the
    data to the Oracle target database in the specified encoding
    for CHAR, VARCHAR, NCHAR and NVARCHAR data types even when the
    JDBC driver supports the database encoding.

    * configured for the mapping or subscription.                  *

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:                                         *
    * When you set an encoding for both the source and target      *
    * where the encoding is different than the database encoding,  *
    * the data replicated during mirroring may be incorrect. The   *
    * source encoding was being preserved. This issue only         *
    * affected Mirroring; Refresh replicated correctly.            *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    * Upgrade to IDR 11.4.0.2-5528 or newer.                       *
    ****************************************************************
    

Problem conclusion
