APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • For schema-less databases( such as MYSQL), and if it has
foreign key dependency then IMAM import is not importing its
corresponding tables (base table) and throws error message as
[CDIMR3790E] An error occurred while importing data from bridge
or connector (CAS/ODBCConnector__3.5).

Local fix

  • Possible workaround is to use the JDBC Connector instead of the
ODBC Connector to import into IMAM

Problem summary

  • Foreign-key references are failing to import from MySQL database
using IMAM-ODBC connector

Problem conclusion

  • Fixed code, now able to import foreign-key reference table also.
