Error description

  • Performance of ODBC-Connector is significantly low, when
    ODBC-Connector is connecting MSSQL-Server and executing
    insert/update statements on the table which has
    index-varchar-column and other varchar columns has
    accented(multi-byte) data in it.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • Performance of ODBC-Connector is significantly low, when
    ODBC-Connector is connecting MSSQL-Server and executing
    insert/update statements on the table which has
    index-varchar-column and other varchar columns has
    accented(multi-byte) data in it.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Fixed, after installing the patch, customer's job would with
    good performance. And also customer need to set environment
    variable CC_ODBC_BIND_AS_VARCHAR=1.
