APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The problem is on Grid Architecture when Stage is writing to
    local disk /tmp directory. Jobs may create huge files on
    compute nodes and due to that the IIS Data stage environment is
    getting crashed as it is filling up this local file system.
    FTP Enterprise Stage have hard coded "/tmp" as the temporary
    directory, and customers have the need to Support customizable
    temporary directory.

  • Added new environment variable(APT_SFTP_TEMP_FOLDER) to address
    customizable temporary directory.
    User can pass valid path to the environment variable as shwon
    below.
    
    For example:
      APT_SFTP_TEMP_FOLDER=/opt/IBM/PFTP_Temp_Folder
