APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The Oracle Connector is inconsistent when compared with other
  connectors. Irrespective of the Record Count (which defines the
  transaction boundary), only bad input records should be
  discarded and good records should be updated.

Problem summary

• In UPDATE mode with no reject link Oracle Connector fails to
  commit records when the array has a row error.
  Although the job correctly continues when FailOnRowError is
  false (i.e., does not abort), the failure to commit the good
  records happens because an exception is thrown for the DML
  error.
  Furthermore, when FailOnRowError is true and there is a row
  error, statistics written to the Director log can be incorrect.
  

Problem conclusion

• The Oracle Connector code was corrected.
