Error description

  • Starting from Teradata 16.1, the libtdgss.so is no longer
shipped with Teradata Client. DataDirect has updated their ODBC
Driver for Teradata such that it does not depend on libtdgss
library. Source:
https://knowledgebase.progress.com/articles/Article/2566. The
DataDirect Teradata ODBC Driver starting from 07.16.0104
version doesn't depend on the libtdgss.so library

Local fix

  • Until the driver is updated, users must stay on TD 16.0 or lower
