Problem summary


    

  • User affected
  Operations Console event generation disabled after the
DSODBConfig.cfg file is saved in UTF-8 encoding.

Problem Description
  Operations Console fails to display any job run information
after the DSODBConfig.cfg file is saved in UTF-8 encoding as
instructed by a comment in the file.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Fixed the issue by removing the comment. UTF-8 encoding is
currently not supported. Concerned customers can remove that
comment from their customised versions. Save the DSODBConfig.cfg
file in ANSI encoding the file is shipped as.
