Error description
DSEngine/bin/uvbackup is a tool to check the integrity of DataStage project files, but it fails with "free(): invalid pointer" error. Local fix
An alternate way to check for project corruption would be to use SyncProject. $ /opt/IBM/InformationServer/ASBNode/bin/SyncProject.sh -ISHost domain:port -ISUser user -ISPassword password -DSHost engine:port -Project project -Report
