Error description

  • You might notice that the file system disk space grows to 100%.
After restarting the solrServer JVM, it reduces the space to an
acceptable level.

This issue occurs because of file lock issues where Java
keeps a reference to index files that are removed. The reference
 is keeping their ?property? open, which is consuming the file
system space.
