Error description
While deploying an application, you encounter the following error: ORA-01795: maximum number of expressions in a list is 1000 An application with a large number of BPEL processes, a large number of snapshots, or both can exceed this maximum. As a result, the SQL query fails because it contains an IN clause with more than 1000 entries, which exceeds Oracle's threshold. The entries are the IDs of all process templates that have the same process app acronym. Your application uses one of these IDs for each BPEL process it contains, and each advanced application snapshot deployed to the server uses the same number of entries as the number of processes it contains. Local fix
Problem summary
Oracle has a limitation of 1000 expressions in an IN clause of a query. Sometimes deploying an applications generates queries with more than 1000 expressions. You experience this problem when you deploy an application with more than 1000 processes.
Problem conclusion
A fix is available in IBM BPM V8.6 that handles the Oracle limitation when more than 1000 processes are in IN clauses.
