APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When you create a Responsive Decimal control in a client-side
human service (CSHS), bind it to variable of the Decimal type,
and set "Other Currency" to be "CHF", the Responsive Decimal
control does not display the currency when the CSHS runs.

IBM Business Process Manager (BPM) Advanced
IBM BPM Standard
IBM BPM Express

Local fix

  • Set Currency to a predefined currency and then change it back to
Other. Run the CSHS. The Responsive Decimal control now displays
the currency as expected.

Problem summary

  • The default value for Currency is not being adhered to in the
control.

Problem conclusion

  • A fix will be included in IBM BPM V8.5.7 cumulative fix 2017.06
that displays the currency correctly when "Other currency" is
the configuration option on a Responsive Decimal control.
