Error description

• In Internet Explorer, when you enter a Japanese (Hiragana)
  phrase into a text control configured with auto-completion,
  press the Space bar to select the corresponding Japanese Kanji
  of Hiragana, and then press Enter to confirm your selection, the
  auto-completion results might not display if the Enter key is
  pressed immediately after the Space bar.

Local fix

• If you delay pressing the Enter key until the list of
  auto-complete results is displayed, or if you press the down
  arrow key after the Enter key, you can overcome this malfunction
  in Internet Explorer.
  

Problem summary

• Internet Explorer doesn't trigger a required event, nor are the
  events handled by the Dojo framework.
  

Problem conclusion

• A fix will be included in IBM BPM V8.5.7 cumulative fix 2017.03
  that compensates for the missing event in Internet Explorer.
