Error description

• When you click a file's URL link in a document list view, the
  link doesn't open the file. The URL is truncated starting from
  the first ampersand (&) character, resulting in a URL that does
  not contain all the intended parameters.
  
  For example,
  
  http://www.ibm.com/testServlet?param1=val1&param2=val2
  
  is truncated to
  
  http://www.ibm.com/testServlet?param1=val1

Local fix

Problem summary

• The URL displayed in the document list was not properly encoded.
  When going to the link location, the browser omits the
  parameters associated with it because of the ampersand.
  

Problem conclusion

• A fix will be included in IBM BPM V8.5.7 cumulative fix 2017.03
  that processes URLs clicked from the document list view
  correctly by passing all intended parameters, regardless of the
  presence of ampersands.
