    ResMonApp and EngMonApp do not recover when database goes down
  and comes back up
  
  Problem Description
    ResMonApp and EngMonApp stop with the error below after a
  restart of database server:
  ERROR
  com.ibm.datastage.runtime.common.db.DBConnector.connect(DBConnec
  tor.java:151) - Error connecting to the database, connector:
  jdbc:db2://...:50000/dsodb
  

Problem conclusion

• Enhanced ResMonApp and EngMonApp with the ability to recover
  when the operations database becomes unavailable for a period of
   time.
  
  To enable the fix, you need to add DBReconnectionKeepRetry=1 to
  the DSODB/DSODBTuning.cfg file on the engine tier, then restart
  the AppWatcher as dsadm or an equivalent user.
    For example,
      /opt/IBM/InformationServer/Server/DSODB/bin/DSAppWatcher.sh
  -stop
      /opt/IBM/InformationServer/Server/DSODB/bin/DSAppWatcher.sh
  -start
