Error description

  • When you run the 'BPMConfig -validate' command on a
configuration properties file that contains a two-cluster
deployment environment for IBM Business Process Manager (BPM)
V8.5, the validation passes successfully although only
single-cluster or three-cluster topologies are supported in IBM
BPM V8.5. You can even create an unsupported two-cluster IBM BPM
    deployment environment.

Local fix

  • Do not modify the cluster topology of the shipped sample
configuration files before using them to create an IBM BPM
    deployment environment.

Problem summary

  • The BPMConfig utility does not check whether the cluster
topology in the specified configuration properties file is
    valid.

Problem conclusion
