Error description
After you install interim fix JR55797 and disable the instrumentation framework by setting <enable-instrumentation> to false in the 100Custom.xml file of IBM Process Center or IBM Process Server, you can no longer open the Process Monitor page in the Process Admin console. Instead, you see the following error message: Error: Ask the administrator to check the SystemOut.log file for more information to resolve the error. In the SystemOut.log, you find the following stack trace: SRVE0068E: An exception was thrown by one of the service methods of the servlet [/html/cs_processmonitor/summary.jsp] in application [IBM_BPM_Teamworks_nodename1_server1]. Local fix
Problem summary
The Process Monitor page in the Process Admin console requires the instrumentation framework to work correctly. However, the page is not enabled to deal with the option to disable instrumentation, which was introduced with interim fix JR55797. As a result, the page fails with the indicated error. Problem conclusion
The Process Monitor page code was changed to show an error message that indicates that the instrumentation framework is disabled. The fix is currently targeted for inclusion in IBM BPM 8.5.7 cumulative fix 2017.03.
