JR56779: Datatype error occurs when using Quick Publish to update promotion codes

Error description

• If you are using DB2 V9.7 or lower and you use Quick Publish to
  update promotion codes, you might encounter an error indicating
  that the parameters of the SQL UPDATE query is of invalid
  datatype. For example,
