  • You might want error message information in the user's browser
    that suppresses details like stack trace and a reference ID that
    users and administrators can use to find more information in the
    server logs. IBM Business Process Manager (BPM) developers
    debugging a human service see the error message.

Problem conclusion

  • A fix will be included in IBM BPM V8.5.7 cumulative fix 2016.09
    that detects and strips any properties starting with '@'
    character which are included as part of data being returned to
    the coach.  This fix applies to the following coach views in the
    Responsive Coaches toolkit:  Single Select, Multiple Select,
    Radio Buttons, Text.
    
    To determine whether the cumulative fix is available and
    download it if it is, complete the following steps on Fix
    Central:
    
    1. On the Select product tab, select WebSphere as the product
    group, IBM Business Process Manager with your edition from the
    WebSphere options, All as the installed version, and All as the
    platform, and then click Continue.
    2. In the Text field, enter "cumulative fix", and click
    Continue.
    
    A fix is available for IBM BPM V8.0.1.3. On Fix Central
    (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search for JR56403:
    
        1. Select IBM Business Process Manager with your edition
    from the product selector, the installed version to the fix pack
    level, and your platform, and then click Continue.
        2. Select APAR or SPR, enter JR56403, and click Continue.
    
    When you download fix packages, ensure that you also download
    the readme file for each fix. Review each readme file for
    additional installation instructions and information about the
    fix.
