Error description

  • In the Team Performance dashboard of IBM Process Portal, you
    select your name from the roster to open the Team Member page.
    After some time, you notice that some of the tasks on the list
    do not belong to you. The task list was automatically updated
    because notifications were received from other team managers
    when reassigning tasks. Sometimes you try to run a task and you
    get the following message because you are no longer the owner of
    the task:
    
    "You are not authorized to work on this task."

Local fix

Problem summary

  • Interim fix JR53179 in IBM BPM V8.5.6.0 CF02 introduced a
    problem with the lookup of external user IDs, which introduced
    inconsistencies when automatically updating the team member task
    list.
    

Problem conclusion

  • A fix that ensures  that the Team Member page of the Team
    Performance dashboard displays only tasks that belong to the
    specific team member will be included in the IBM BPM V8.5.7
    2016.09 cumulative fix.
    
    To determine whether the cumulative fix is available and
    download it if it is, complete the following steps on Fix
    Central:
    
    1. On the Select product tab, select WebSphere as the product
    group, IBM Business Process Manager with your edition from the
    WebSphere options, All as the installed version, and All as the
    platform, and then click Continue.
    2. In the Text field, enter "cumulative fix?, and click
    Continue.
