Error description

  • The following error is continuously printed to the System.out
    log file when you attempt to review a contract summary to which
    you do not have access:
    
    AccManager isAllowed CMN1501E: User 1002 does not have the
    authority to perform action 'Display' on resource
    'com.ibm.commerce.tools.contract.beans.ContractDataBean' for
    command 'ContractDisplay'
    
    The account that you are using does not have the roles needed to
     view the contract summary.

Problem summary

  • USERS AFFECTED:
    WebSphere Commerce Version 7 Feature Pack 7 or later, and
    Version 8.
    
    PROBLEM ABSTRACT:
    System.out log shows CMN1501E: User 1002 does not have the
    authority to perform action 'Display' on resource
    
    BUSINESS IMPACT:
    Looping 'AccManager isAllowed CMN1501E:' error message in the
    System.out log file.
    
    RECOMMENDATION:
    

Problem conclusion

  • Updated to avoid multiple occurrences of the same error. When
    the user does not have the appropriate authority to view
    contract summaries, the server will record 1 instance of the
    exception in the log.
