  • After you install Mod Pack 1 (8.0.1.), you might notice that
when you edit and save any file on a WebSphere Commerce
Developer environment, the following information is incorrectly
added as a header:

Local fix

  • Delete the following file,

<RadinstallDir>\dropins\wcde\eclipse\plugins\com.ibm.commerce.to
olkit.internal.copyright_8.0.0.0.jar

Problem summary

  • USERS AFFECTED:
WebSphere Commerce Version 8 Mod Pack 1 (8.0.1.0).

PROBLEM ABSTRACT:
IBM License information is added to every file on WebSphere
Commerce Developer

BUSINESS IMPACT:
The IBM Copyright header is added to any file that is edited.

RECOMMENDATION:

Problem conclusion

  • Removed the plugin that added the IBM license information.
