When IBM Process Portal in IBM Business Process Manager (BPM) V8.5.7 is configured to use an IBM Process Federation Server that federates only BPEL systems, you do not see tasks in the task list in Process Portal. PRODUCTS AFFECTED IBM BPM Advanced IBM BPM Standard
The federated query REST API in Process Federation Server, called by Process Portal to retrieve the task list, collects fields for tasks from federated systems. When only BPEL systems are federated, the federated systems do not return task fields that are specific to BPMN tasks although you expect those fields to be returned.
A fix is available for IBM Business Process Manager - Process Federation ServerV 188.8.131.52 Cumulative Fix 201604 (184.108.40.206 CF201604) that makes task fields common to all federated systems, allowing the task list to be rendered in Process Portal.
