Problem conclusion
The solution is to append the corresponding facet group in the URL if a shopper selects any facets which are hidden by the "Show/View All" check box. The URL with any facet groups appended will automatically trigger the corresponding "Show/View All" function to display all the facets under its group. Finally, all of the selected facets will get selected after clicking the Back button.
