Error description
The Associated widget displays links to associated assets for a catalog entries, such as videos, user manuals, and warranty documents. Each link is displayed with a corresponding icon and a display name. However, if you specify .flv type video formats with an absolute path, then the video does not display in the widget. This issue occurs because when an absolute path (complete URL) is used as the attachment URL, WebSphere Commerce treats the attachment as an external Web Content Manager URL and tries to resolve the MIME type.

Problem conclusion
Added a flag for business users to specify whether they are using a Web Content Manager (WCM) to host their attachment file assets. If a WCM is not used, WebSphere Commerce does not try to resolve MIME type and MIME part of media files.
