Error description

  • ERROR DESCRIPTION:Ø
    When using the Generate Migration Policy file in
    the Process Center console or using BPMCheckOrphanTokens
    command, an error occurs when generating the file.
    org.w3c.dom.DOMException: NOT_FOUND_ERR: An attempt is made to
    reference a node in a context where it does not exist.
    The issue happens when the target snapshot is missing an
    activity from the BPD.

Problem summary

  • ERROR DESCRIPTION -
    When you try to generate a migration policy file while you
    deploy a snapshot deployment in IBM Process Center, you receive
    the following error and the generation of the policy file is
    interrupted.
    
    org.w3c.dom.DOMException: NOT_FOUND_ERR: An attempt is made to
    reference a node in a context where it does not exist.

    PROBLEM SUMMARY

    side:

Problem conclusion

  • The fix is available in IBM BPM V8.5.6.0 cumulative fix 2 (CF02)
     thatcorrects the child node computation that occurs while
    generating the policy file.
    
    On Fix Central (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search
    for JR55157:
    
    1.Select IBM Business Process Manager with your edition from the
    product selector, the installed version to the fix pack level,
    and your platform, and then click Continue.
    2.Select APAR or SPR, enter JR55157, and click Continue.
    
    When you download fix packages, ensure that you also download
    the readme file for each fix. Review each readme file for
    additional installation instructions and information about the
    fix.
