JR55102: USER-CONTEXT PROPAGATION FAILS WHEN EVENT SEQUENCING IS ENABLED

Error description

  • During SCA component interaction, a business object's
user-context information flows from component to component. The
user-context is used to pass data that is not part of the
message payload between multiple SCA components in the same
module. For example, in an SCA mediation flow component, a
developer could store data in the user-context; another SCA
component in the invocation chain could retrieve this data
    later.

However, if you enable the event-sequencing feature on an SCA
component, the user-context is removed when this component is
    invoked.

Local fix

Problem summary

  • The user-context is mistakenly removed when event sequencing
    modifies the user-context object.

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is/will be available for IBM BPM V8.5.5.0 that prevents
the unintentional removal of the user context.
