Error description

  • When you claim and open a task, you receive all the task data
    from the process instance. When there is a lot of task data, the
    task completion user interface takes a long time to render.

Local fix

Problem summary

  • When you claim and open a task, the v1/process REST request
    sends all the task data, which can take a long time when there
    are many tasks associated with the process instance.
    

Problem conclusion

  • A fix that that allows the REST process details to exclude task
    data, thereby improving the performance when you claim a task,
    is currently targeted for inclusion in an upcoming IBM Business
    Process Manager (BPM) V8.5 cumulative maintenance vehicle.
