Error description

  • When DeAdminAlias is not set as the default value for the
    DeAdmin role in the admin console, but run the BPMConfig -export
     command, you notice that the following properties are missing
    from the exported file:
    bpm.de.roleMapping.1.name=
    bpm.de.roleMapping.1.alias=
    
    PRODUCTS AFFECTED
    IBM Business Process Manager (BPM) Advanced
    IBM BPM Standard
    IBM BPM Express
    

Local fix

  • manually edit the BPMConfig -export output file with the
    missing properties
    

Problem summary

  • The BPMConfig -export command is not supported in IBM BPM
    V8.5.0.1.
    
    A fix will be available for IBM BPM V8.5.0.1 in the IBM BPM
    V8.5.0.2 fix pack. This fix disables the BPMCONFIG -export
    command so it cannot be invoked inadvertently.
    
    The BPMConfig -export command is available in IBM BPM V8.5.5 and
    later releases.
