APAR status

Error description

• Enabling Monitoring and tuning > Request Metrics in WAS admin
  console, then selecting a component in the list (e.g. Custom >
  JDBC) on the V7 FEP8 Aurora starter store, causes Generic Errors
   in storefront.
  
  An error message is displayed in the storefront and an exception
  java.lang.RuntimeException: SRV.8.2: ResponseWrapper objects
  must
  extend either ServletResponseWrapper or
  HttpServletResponseWrapper appears in the logs.
  

Local fix

• Disable Request metrics in WAS admin console.
  

Problem summary

• USERS AFFECTED:
  Websphere Commerce administrators on V7 FEP8 who use the request
   metrics feature in WAS.
  
  PROBLEM ABSTRACT:
  Enabling JDBC Performance monitoring Request Metrics breaks

  Websphere Commerce administrators cannot use these request
