JR54241: After removing a selected defining attribute, the Product details page continues to display SKU information

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• On the Product display page, when a shopper selects defining
  attributes, in the drop-down menu for the attribute selection,
  the Unit of Measure (UOM) is displayed. After selecting an
  attribute, the UOM is not displayed but should be displayed.
  
  After a complete selection of the defining attributes, the SKU
  is displayed. Then, if a selection of a defining attribute is
  cleared, the SKU is still displayed, but the product should be
  displayed instead.

  WebSphere Commerce V7 users who enable the display of SKU
  context.
  
  PROBLEM ABSTRACT:
  After removing a selected defining attribute, the Product
  details page continues to display SKU information
  
  BUSINESS IMPACT:
  The current usability of the Product display page is not ideal
  for shoppers.
  
  RECOMMENDATION:
  

Problem conclusion

• Updated logic to redirect to the product URL when defining
  attributes are cleared.
  This fix also ensure that the UOM is displayed in the attribute
  facets.
