Error description

  • In Web Designer, the script editor may behave unexpectedly, for
    example,
    
    1. Place new "Client-side script"
    2. Enter "aaaaa" to "Client-side script"
    3. Save
    4. Click Coach to move the focus from "Client-side script"
    5. Click "Client-side script" again
    6. Enter "Back space" key. Then, 'aa' is deleted.
    7. Enter "Back space" key. Then, no char is deleted.
    8. Enter "Back space" key. Then, 'a' is deleted.

Local fix

Problem summary

  • Issue is only encountered with Frefox browser. Firefox triggers
    both keydown and keypress events for backspace which results in
    this issue.
    

Problem conclusion

  • A fix will be incorporated into the next cumulative fix that
    compensates for the additional backspace key events when using
    Fireffox.
