Local fix

Problem summary

  • The tw.system.serializer.toXml JavaScript API allows a TWObject
as input that is then parsed and converted into XML. However, if
the TWObject contains a string that contains invalid XML
characters, such as control characters 0x01 or 0x02, you receive
    an IllegalDataException.

Problem conclusion

  • A fix that automatically removes invalid characters in string
input so that the string is XML compliant
    - will be available for IBM BPM V8.5.5.0
    - will be in an IBM BPM V8.5.6.0 Cumulative Fix
