Error description

  • Certain actions, such as listing user interfaces, opening a
    specific coach view (especially the first time), listing coach
    views in the Property tab, and saving a coach view, are slow in
    the desktop IBM Process Designer.

Local fix

Problem summary

  • This performance issue occurs because the coach palette
    repository in the desktop IBM Process Designer needlessly
    reloads all coach views in the scope.
    

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is available for IBM BPM V8.5.5.0 that reloads only
    artifacts in coach views that have changed UUID versions.
    
    The fix for this APAR on IBM BPM V8.5.5.0 has been superseded
    and included in a coach cumulative fix for JR53859.
    
    On Fix Central (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search
    for JR53859:
    
        1. Select IBM Business Process Manager with your edition
    from the product selector, the installed version to the fix pack
    level, and your platform, and then click Continue.
        2. Select APAR or SPR, enter JR53859, and click Continue.
    
    A fix is also available for IBM BPM V8.5.6.0. The fix for this
    APAR on 8.5.6.0 has been superseded and included in BPM 8.5.6.0
    cumulative fix 1 (8.5.6.1).
    
    When you download fix packages, ensure that you also download
    the readme file for each fix. Review each readme file for
    additional installation instructions and information about the
    fix.
