Error description

  • When you want to view an IBM Business Process Manager (BPM)
    document and you are not authorized for the business process
    definition (BPD) process instance that the document is
    associated with, you receive the CWLLG089E error message:
    
        You are not authorized to see the BPM document content.
    
    Problem determination is difficult because no details (neither
    for the document nor BPD process instance) are included.

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is available for IBM BPM V8.5.0.1 that adds necessary
    diagnostic details about the document and the associated BPD
    process instance to the message:
    
    CWLLG0891E: You are not authorized to view the content of the
    ''{0}'' document with the {1} identifier. The document is
    attached to the {2} BPD instance, which you are not authorized
    to view.

    Additionally, a new information message is logged in the server
    SystemOut.log file:

    instance, which the user is not authorized to view.

    On Fix Central (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search
    for JR53812:
    
    1. Select IBM Business Process Manager with your edition from
      the product selector, the installed version to the fix pack
      level, and your platform, and then click Continue.
    
    2. Select APAR or SPR, enter JR53812, and click Continue.
    
    When you download fix packages, ensure that you also download
    the readme file for each fix. Review each readme file for
    additional installation instructions and information about the
    fix.
